In our unique vacation apartment at Bahnhof Paulinzella with a sauna, you can feel right at home and have an unforgettable vacation. Our accommodation can accommodate up to nine people and is ideal for hikers, travel groups, or professional bookers (construction workers). It features two cozy bedrooms, a modern bathroom with a shower, a hallway, and a spacious living room with a kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a delicious meal: a stove with four induction burners, a refrigerator with a freezer, a microwave, a kettle, a coffee machine, a toaster, plenty of dishes and cutlery, and a mini oven for baking bread rolls. The extendable dining table can seat up to nine people.

Imagine sitting in front of the crackling fireplace in the living kitchen and enjoying the cozy atmosphere after an eventful day in nature. On cold days, you can also warm up with the infrared heater in the bedroom and bathroom. Wi-Fi is, of course, available. As our guests, you also have access to an idyllic garden (over 3000 sqm). Here you can refresh yourself under the garden shower or sweat in the sauna (for a fee).

Our accommodation is located in the middle of the forest, but with a railway connection and good access to the highway. Paulinzella is a gateway to the Thuringian Forest and offers numerous opportunities for hiking and walking. The Luther Trail and the Pilgrimage Trail of Strong Women pass through the village. Paulinzella Monastery - An Important and Wealthy Abbey

The Paulinzella Monastery was founded as a double monastery around 1102 by the Saxon noblewoman Paulina. She was the daughter of the steward Moricho from the court of King Henry IV. The monastery was an important center of the Hirsau Reform and had rich property in the region. The monastery was dissolved in 1542 as a result of the Reformation and transferred to the Office of Paulinzella. A small hunting lodge of the princes of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt was built on the monastery grounds.

The ruin of the Romanesque monastery church is one of the largest and most beautiful in Germany. It was rediscovered and appreciated in the 19th century during the Romantic period.
